Online retailing in the UAE has hit the virtual world with a bang in the last few years, however one of them stands out from the rest.  Emirates Avenue yet again are the leaders in their field and are now offering a repair service to EVERYONE, their products are covered under manufacturer and their own warranty so no worries there, so this service is open to anyone who has an iPhone, iPad or any other geeky gadget that needs repairing.

Pick up and delivery of the "sick" gadget is free, there is a charge for the actual repair but they won't go ahead with the repair until they have your approval.  All geeky gadgets are returned fully charged as well. It's that time again, yes it's Geekfest the bi-monthly meet up of the "geeks", am I a geek?  I don't consider myself as one, infact the majority of the people who attend aren't either just a group of like minded people who have a bit of a passion for Twitter  who enjoy meeting new folk and putting names to faces.

This month it's ONE FOR THE GIRLS, by that the unorganised organiser of said event, Lord @alexandermcnabb has given in and the let the female fraternity take over with a series of female speakers and business showcases from women in business.  With talks from @amazingsusan, @devinadivecha @naylaAlkhaja and @aidaAlb it's going to make for an interesting evening. 

There are also 9 women in business who will be showcasing their business in the main area of The Shelter, Dubai, the list is as follows:

House of Colour Dubai - myself and partner in colourful crime Janet Small will be available to answer all your questions related to colour and personal image.  We offer services for both the male and the females of the species so don't be shy, come along and have a chat.  We will also be showcasing our hand-made jewellery and a selection of fab hairslides and other bits and pieces.
